Fisher Research Laboratory - XLT-30 Leak & Sound Detector
The Fisher XLT-30 uses a powerful, solid-state amplifier
and ultra-sensitive probes to detect leak sounds -- even in poor sound
conductors, such as PVC and cement pipe, under all types of earth and pavement
and even in water-filled cavities. For concrete floors, the "Big Foot Probe"
acts like a giant stethoscope to identify hidden leak sounds. When the
pipe is accessable or located beneath the earth, the Hydrophonic Cylinder
Probe with an adjustable-length sound rod detects the leak sounds.
