Compression Couplings
525 Compression Coupling Smith-Blair Compression Couplings are used to join plain-end, small diameter pipe on new installations. They are also useful when making modifications or repairs to existing pipe systems. Pipes may be from 1/2" to 2" in diameter and made of steel, copper or PVC. Couplings have a temperature range of -40°F to +212°F and are tested to withstand a working pressure of up to 150 PSI.

A Protected Gasket (Product # 003) may be added to provide extra protection against line contents. A continuous brass helix molded into the leading edge of the gasket provides metal to metal contact between the pipe and coupling sleeve.
