This meter turns the self-contained internal valve in the meter on when the prepaid amount has sufficient funds indicated by the electronic keypad controller, this lets the water flow to the user. When the controller indicates there are no funds left the meter senses this and closes off the valve. The Keypad is PASSWORD controlled and the new password must be gotten from the water authority, rv or mobile home park manager,marina, etc. What could be simpler to control unpaid water usage? This meter is the standard around the World for this type of water dispensing in economically challenged countries and where water is a scarce commodity.
